Product Description
The BUGBite holster was designed for maximum comfort and concealment. Each holster is designed specifically to conform to the shape of the human leg ensuring that your firearm is supported properly and in a way that allows you to forget you are even carrying a pistol. The BUGBite keeps your firearm properly oriented upwards at all times, and because the design lacks velcro or snaps, removing your pistol when you need it is 100% silent, unlike almost every other type of holster. The holster is designed to comfortably carry pistols from small all the way up to mid-size frame so you only need one holster that can work with a variety of your firearms.
Our size chart is a guide to help you select the best size. BUGBite holsters are made of a light breathable Neoprene that has a snug stretchy comfortable fit. The size chart is a good guide but much like any garment regardless of what size you are, fit is a matter of personal preference and can vary depending on how a leg is shaped, how muscular the calf is or not.
If you are right between sizes. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we suggest going up in size. Fit is in part a matter of personal preference, if when you receive your order you feel a different size would be a better and more comfortable fit, please let us know and we will be happy to help with an exchange.

Bug Bite holster
If I was running in a race or chasing down a “perp”, I would have great confidence that my pistol would stay secure. Unfortunately, as the pistol rides high in the calf and not lower on the ankle, it prints with every pair of pants I tried. It’s a high quality holster completely unsuitable for my needs.

Bugbite
Wears well hardly realize you are wearing it.

Bug Bite Ankle Holster
This is a good design and comfortable to wear. Getting the correct size may be a little tricky. From the recommended measurements I first purchased size B, but that one was a bit small and I couldn’t keep it up on my leg. Next I ordered a size D which fits much better but I needed to shorten the strap by about 2 inches to be able to use the Velcro closure. I’ve ordered a size C to try next, hopefully this size will be just right.

Bugbite ankle holster. I hadn't to return the initial holster
Very comfortable holster. The first one was too small. The return process was great, no problem at all. The second holster is very comfortable, I can wear it all day and don't even realize it is on.

BugBite Ankle Holster
I previously reviewed the BugBite in November 2021, soon after my purchase. I referred to it as a comfortable calf rig and complained that it was difficult to accommodate the BugBite carrying a P365 in normal trousers. The width of the legs made it impossible not to "print." However, shortly thereafter, I purchased a Ruger LCPII and have become a religious convert to using my BugBite. I still cannot use it with dress pants and some jeans, but most straight-leg pants and jeans are fine. The most remarkable thing is just how confortable it is to wear -- I often wear it all day and do not even think about it. You will forget you are wearing it. If I could offer one improvement, it would be to extend the length of the velcro in order to give greater options for positioning the BugBite on the leg. I like to wear it lower when wearingnsome trousers and needed to add velcro in order to have enough hook-n-loop to bite into. Definitely a five-star product, especially when compared to other ankle options. After more than two years, it is starting to show some wear, and I am considering getting a smaller size in order to try wearing just above the ankle. Someone else has already said it -- this is not really an ankle holster -- no matter what the ad says. It is, however, a comfortable calf rig. Perhaps my experience differs from everyone else, but I cannot find a pair of normal trousers to accommodate the rig. Other than all of that, it is comfortable and seems to hold my P365 with confidence.

Comfort and access
I previously owned the "Bugbite Ankle Holster" but somehow it got lost. Based on my previously owed ankle holster, and the convenience and design, there was no other option on the market that offered what "Bugbite" design and comfort offered. So, after a web search, I finally found it and placed my order and I'm happy to have my Bugbite ankle holster again! Hopefully, I won't lose this one! It's comfortable, it fits a number of different guns, it's durable, well made, conceals very well with the right pair of pants! Highly recommended!!!

Bugbite Ankle Holster
I previously had one of the original Bugbite ankle holsters and I loved it. Over many years it stretched out and was in need of replacement. The new style is improved and works great. Highly recommend.

Easy on-off, the zipper is super to snug it down. Weapon fits easily and snug too.
