Product Description
The BUGBite holster was designed for maximum comfort and concealment. Each holster is designed specifically to conform to the shape of the human leg ensuring that your firearm is supported properly and in a way that allows you to forget you are even carrying a pistol. The BUGBite keeps your firearm properly oriented upwards at all times, and because the design lacks velcro or snaps, removing your pistol when you need it is 100% silent, unlike almost every other type of holster. The holster is designed to comfortably carry pistols from small all the way up to mid-size frame so you only need one holster that can work with a variety of your firearms.
Our size chart is a guide to help you select the best size. BUGBite holsters are made of a light breathable Neoprene that has a snug stretchy comfortable fit. The size chart is a good guide but much like any garment regardless of what size you are, fit is a matter of personal preference and can vary depending on how a leg is shaped, how muscular the calf is or not.
If you are right between sizes. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we suggest going up in size. Fit is in part a matter of personal preference, if when you receive your order you feel a different size would be a better and more comfortable fit, please let us know and we will be happy to help with an exchange.

Bugbit ankle holster
I bought the Bugbite holster aiming to use it with my Sig 290RS (single-stack semiauto; width = 0.9”; weight 21 oz). I found it works fine with that, but when I realized that it worked equally well with my larger CZ 2075 RAMI (double-stack semiauto; width = 1.3”; weight 26 oz), I switched. The RAMI is probably close to the upper limit in length (about 6.5” nose-to-beavertail) for a semiautomatic in this holster; the back of the slide just fits beneath the top seam. The RAMI’s height (about 4.75” with a flush-fit mag) is also probably near the max for effective concealment, even with baggie pants. The spare magazine pouch on the opposite side of the sleeve can hold a second flush-fit magazine or even a slightly larger one. The Bugbite ankle holster uses an elastic sleeve and friction to hold itself in position against your calf and to hold a handgun securely in place. The elastic sleeve has a zipper at the bottom end (near your ankle) and by a strap with hook-and-loop fastening at the top to let it slip on easily and then maintain pressure evenly. Semiautomatic handguns are held in a holster pouch with 4 sewn edges. In addition to the 3 seams running alongside the slide, the muzzle, and the underside of the barrel and trigger guard, a short, sewn seam holds the rear of the slide. The placement of that top seam (at top of the sleeve) prevents any-skin-to-metal contact. Users should first optimize positioning of the Bugbite while wearing shorts. I naturally pull on my right-handed (left-leg) model with the holster seam on my shin bone. That results in the firearm’s grip sticking out. Rotating clockwise a little minimizes that. Switching from the Sig to the CZ, I do not think that the added weight (5 oz) affected the comfort. The holster felt like a tight high-rise sock on my calf. There were no pressure points and no chaffing. The material of construction was breathable, and wearing the holster did not seem to make my calf significantly hotter. The fit and finish seemed good. Given my limited time with the product (about 2 weeks and not 24/7) I am not in a position to evaluate its durability. I did wear it in a variety of situations (eg, did jumping jacks, worked in the garden, drove my car, used the bathroom, and sat with legs up in a recliner). In all cases, I found it secure and comfortable. I did look at the holster briefly with a bobbed-hammer revolver [a Colt Night Cobra]. It worked well overall, but with 2 notable differences versus a semiautomatic. First, the revolver’s less-square profile meant that it did not reach up to the sewn top, but that did not seem to compromise how secure the firearm was in the holster. Second, the overall shape and the curved grip allowed the revolver to rotate into the holster, which resulted in better access and concealment plus a smoother draw stroke.

Most comfortable Carry Option
Tons of holsters say ‘forget you’re actually carrying’ but this is the only option I’ve found that genuinely has that effect
